Congratulations to the heat. Despite achieving another of his lofty goals, LeBron will go on this summer thinking about nothing but basketball, as evidenced by this marvelous video.

That looks familiar. Oh yeah, cause I already did it, before widespread high definition. Oh and feel free to comment about the guy that appears at 1:02. People can't seem to wrap their heads around it:

Oh, and Fuck you, Ray Allen. That is all.

I don't think I'll ever be able to get a decent nights sleep again.

*face palm*

Feel terrible for TD. He busted his ass out there.

I think it's always a good idea to fuck Ray Allen.

A lot goes into winning a championship, but the Spurs are the 2013 NBA champions if Bosh doesn't rebound and hit Allen for the 3 at the end of game 6. Fuckin Ray Allen. Fuckin Bosh. And as much as it pains me to say it, fuckin Coach Pop for having Duncan on the bench there.

Oh, and I'll share a fucking for Ginobili and Leonard for missing foul shots, but Leonard was otherwise great. Ginobili? Except for game 5, Ginobili was a shambling basketball corpse. Are we entirely certain that the Spurs couldn't have used some T-Mac action here? Yes, Ginobili was that bad.

Much agreed, Wormboy. In game 6, I was like, "Is Tim Duncan in foul trouble or something?"

And Pop does that AFTER Vogel already got burned by the same crap by not having Hibbert in the game at the end. Inexcusable.

Coaches can espouse "matchups" all they want, but this is a simple game...Eric Spoelstra is now considered a great coach for nothing more than keeping LeBron, Wade, and Bosh in the game when it counts.

And honestly, in my book, Pop has dropped a few pegs after this one. Now you have to question how much is "genius" and how much is "Tim Duncan's coattails."

Oh, and Danny Green showed in 6 and 7 why he's been cut so many times (including by the Spurs)...wow, did he stink up the joint.

Don't even get me started on Manu...awful...was Cory Joseph hurt or something? Because Breen and JVG were calling Ginobili the backup point guard, but I'm pretty sure that was Joseph's gig, and I believe he did it pretty well.

The Heat had it handed to them. Shame on the Pop. He single-handedly blew it for his team.

But at least Ray Allen now can justify leaving my Celtics. So there's that...

Looks like the "Turd Sandwich" made some magic on Battier: 6-8 from three point, awesome.

And in related news, whoever planned Miami's victory parade didn't seem to consider overpass heights before putting the team on top of a double decker bus.

other than Lebron and Bosh he clearly wanted it to look like a flop..

The worst part of this Finals debacle for a neutral fan (which means against the Heat) was Shane Battier lighting it up. Man, does he irk me.

On to newer things, I was looking at a mock draft, and there was a prospect (a certain Gorgui Dieng) whose NBA comparison is Ruben Boumtje-Boumtje.

Really? There's a player called Ruben Boumtje-Boumtje in the league?!

Well, if this blog even exists next year there will be another banner including Garnett and Pierce.

Not going to work, BTW. Garnett and Pierce are old, and Deron just isn't as great as people thought he was. Plus, Kidd is probably not going to be a great coach, at least not now.

@Barry, Ruben Boumtje-Boumtje was in the NBA for a few years, but I wouldn't really call him a player.
He was 4th on Georgetown's all-time shot blocker list (behind Ewing, Mourning, and Mutombo).

Ah, thanks for that. Not a bad list to be on, I suppose!

What do we all make of the new and revamped Dwightmare? I reckon he'll stay, it's a long shot at this point so that is probably the most likely in Dwightworld.

This site is dead. That's not an insult, just sad, sad commentary.

So it seems, so it seems...

I just hope Bawfull can summon his inner Popovich, and bring his squad back from the dead.
